MAIN PURPOSE

Located in Scandicci, Firenze, the Pelletteria Richemont Firenze - hereinafter "PRF" - is the Richemont Group leather center of excellence, built on a campus model and offering shared services to our prestigious Maisons. The campus hosts the Maison industrial Directors and teams. The CEO will manage as direct reports the shared activities (Logistics, Warehouse Laboratory, Responsible Sourcing, Sourcing Intelligence, HR, Finance and IT) and interact on a daily basis with the Maison local and HQ teams. He/She will support the Maisons in the global transformation of the Group leather goods eco-system. He/She represents Richemont in the leather goods sector and ensures that operations are in accordance with Group procedures and in line with all rules, regulations and laws of the country. Ensure a high level of compliance and limit reputational risks. The CEO is expected to help optimize the Brands performance by providing them efficient and cost-effective support functions according to the global standards of the Richemont Group. He/She will ensure the financial equilibrium, the sustainability and development of the campus.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Be the privileged partner of our Brands:

• Define together with Brands service needs and implement Service Level Agreements.
• Monitor service level agreements with brands. In terms of variances develop together with local PRF heads, central function and brands activities to come back on track.
• Define, enhance and foster KPIs through the company.
• Establish and maintain effective communication between brand managers and shared service managers regarding the range of services available to the Brands.

Managing the Campus:

• Ensure management of teams: assign clear missions with measurable objectives and define roles & responsibilities.
• Animate team performances through appropriate objectives and KPIs, control their fulfillment, conduct annual appraisal.
• In cooperation with HR, recruit, motivate, train and build a local team of staff who will be the foundation of the business for the future.
• Promote a succession plan for the entity to ensure the development of local talents.
• Responsible for PRF P&L and accountable for the fiscal and legal integrity of all activity in the entity.
• Ensuring that financial reporting meets Group needs (Finance Controlling - Geneva).
• Coordinate and oversee the PRF budget preparation, before presenting it to the Group Direction. Monitor on a monthly basis in order to achieve budget goals.
• Analysis of PRF results and publication of a quarterly regional report.

REQUIREMENTS

Additional requirements include:

• University degree as a mandatory requirement.
• Graduate degree in business or a related discipline is highly desirable.
• Executive position for at least 10 years.
• Excellent knowledge of general business with strong technical background in multiple areas including Finance and/or Operations.
• International experience and proven background in matrix organizations.
• Solid knowledge and preferably experience in the management of Support Functions.
• Fluent in Italian as well as English. French is a plus.
