This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a technical, safety‑critical environment and is ready to take ownership of Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop methodologies for next‑generation industrial vehicles. 🎯 Key Responsibilities Develop, introduce, and consolidate Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) methodologies for fault‑injection testing on industrial forklifts. Ensure compliance with EN 1175 safety standards , with potential extension to Battery Management System (BMS) testing. Define a complete simulation framework enabling controlled testing of: Electrical faults Communication faults Sensor faults Validate the robustness, reliability, and fail‑safe behavior of vehicle control systems. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure high‑quality, traceable, and automated test processes. 🛠️ Required Technical Skills Strong experience with the Vector toolchain , particularly CANoe , for modeling and simulating communication buses (CAN, CANopen, LIN, mixed networks). Proficiency with vTestStudio for test case definition, automation, and traceability. Mandatory certifications: PES – PEV – PAI (work with live electrical parts). Solid understanding of safety‑critical systems and HIL architectures. 📌 Additional Requirements 3–5 years of experience in HIL testing, automotive/industrial systems, or related fields. Italian C1 (mandatory) and English B2 proficiency. Ability to handle sensitive data with professionalism. No travel required. A workstation will be provided on‑site by the customer.
