Role Overview We are looking for a Senior/Staff level Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement backend services and APIs that are scalable, reliable, and secure. - Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to define and build new features. - Optimize performance and scalability of the backend systems. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers. - Identify technical debt and provide recommendations for improvements. What We're Looking For - 5+ years of experience in backend development. - Strong experience with Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or similar backend languages. - Expertise in RESTful APIs - Experience building ecommerce / payment systems - Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
