We have already established partnerships with the biggest global marketplaces as well as regional leaders.
Headquartered in Poland, Breslau, BaseLinker has 8 independently-run teams across the globe (Brazil, Czech Republic, Romania, India, UK, USA, DACH, India). Currently, we are experiencing exponential growth and are scaling globally. We have made a few acquisitions, set up new businesses, and grown the team significantly (team size 10x growth in last 3 years) - already exceeding 230 professionals.
We are seeking an exceptional professional with relevant experience who is passionate about eCommerce and entrepreneurship. The new Head of Italy will join the Executive Leadership Team and will play a pivotal role heading into the next growth phase. A successful candidate will build out the sales team, oversee growth initiatives, and operational improvements within the market.
Experience
- 6+ years of professional experience
- Relevant experience in eCommerce in the region (marketplaces, eShops, eCommerce SaaS Solutions, Fulfilment providers, shipping automation companies, etc.)
- Great understanding of market conditions and industry trends
- Entrepreneurial mindset and great organisational skills
- Strong leadership skills to help guide market leaders and teams to achieve their business goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, Italian)
- Comfort with customer relationship management
- Team player with a passion for learning
- Flexible, professional, accurate, and structured
- Outgoing, friendly, and fun to be around
Tasks
- Scale-up BaseLinker commercial activity in the region
- Build and manage a high-performing local team (support, business development & optionally tech)
- Drive Business Development Initiatives (local markets partnerships, paid media, email campaigns)
- Work cross-functionally with a global tech team to elevate the product
- Plan and execute business operations (own region P&L)
- Develop and execute strategies and annual work plans for the local team
- Manage local market relationships with key companies from the eCommerce ecosystem
- Be the face of BaseLinker in the region
