As aSenior Software Architect , you will be tasked with driving the transformation of one of our core systems into a scalable modern microservices architecture and defining the next generation of our platform. In this high-visibility, high-impact role, you will lead an ambitious initiative to break down a complex cloudbased monolithic system, written primarily in Python, into a scalable, multi-tenant, cloud-native set of services (primarily in modern Java for new development; you may also meet Go as a secondary language in newer parts of the codebase). You will collaborate across the Sentinel One engineering organization with multiple engineering and product management leaders to design solutions capable of handling global Saa S scale processing petabytes of data and hundreds of billions of events. RELOCATION INFORMATION: We provide relocation assistance (financial & administrative) for those willing to relocate to Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. This assistance is available only for candidates that are already eligible to work in the EU at the time of applying. Every year, there are new investments in Tech coming to Czechia (incl. Prague) from abroad, new R&D sites are being opened, and dozens of Tech jobs are being created. The final base salary will be adjusted based on the individual skills and experience of the selected candidate. As part of the Total Compensation, we provide an annual bonus based on both the company's and individual performance (paid in two instalments), and a grant of Restricted Stock Units with a 4-year vesting plan (1-year cliff, then quarterly; In addition to this

Dive deep into our current monolithic architecture, identify pain points, and design innovative solutions to address them in an iterative way. Lead the design and development of a new microservices architecture that supports scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence. Collaborate with departments and teams to evaluate and implement the right tools, frameworks, and methodologies for building a robust microservices ecosystem. Readiness to "get your hands dirty" by developing POCs and prototypes, performing code reviews and contributing to high-quality, production-ready code (primarily in Java). Guide and mentor other engineers, contribute to their professional growth, share best practices and architectural insights, and foster a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Partner with other engineering organizations and teams across the globe, with product, design, quality, Dev Ops/Infra teams and leadership to align on objectives, design, timelines, and execution strategies.
