We are looking for an SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Business Consultant to help clients transform their financial management and controlling processes with SAP S/4HANA. Location: Milan or Turin Your Role & Responsibilities As part of an international team, you will contribute to client-facing SAP projects, supporting organizations as they design, implement, and improve their SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions. You will work closely with clients and colleagues to translate business needs into effective, sustainable outcomes, including:- Contributing to SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) implementations, transformations, and rollouts.
- Analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional designs, process flows, and SAP configuration.
- Supporting financial accounting and controlling processes, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, cost center accounting, internal orders, and profitability analysis.
- Helping clients improve financial reporting, planning, budgeting, cost allocation, and analysis processes.
- Facilitating workshops with business stakeholders and advising clients on SAP FI/CO capabilities and leading practices.
- Coordinating with other SAP modules, including Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM), as well as technical teams, to support end-to-end process integration and financial data flows.
- Contributing to testing, data migration, cutover, training, and post-go-live support, with close attention to detail.
- Building trusted client relationships, managing stakeholder expectations, and supporting project teams in delivering measurable business results.
- You have a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- You have experience in SAP consulting, with a focus on SAP FI/CO processes and solutions.
- You have experience with SAP S/4HANA and a strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
- You can gather and analyze requirements, develop functional specifications, and communicate recommendations clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
- You demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, initiative, and a proactive, results-oriented approach to adapting to changing project needs.
- You have strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills, with a collaborative and client-oriented attitude.
- You are comfortable working in an international environment and communicating in English; proficiency in Italian. Other European languages are a plus.
- You are willing to travel domestically and internationally when project needs require it.
