Avant Health is a clinical research organization and a strategy consulting firm that specializes in designing and implementing clinical and observational research across north America, Europe and other parts of the world. At Avant Health, we help identify, create and communicate value of healthcare and pharmaceutical products and services, solidifying the roadmap to commercial success. We help strategize tactics and communications that focuses on patient health outcomes and the concepts of patient-centricity. The Research Consultant at Avant Health will be tasked with managing various primary and secondary research initiatives globally, supporting Pharma/Biotech and other industry partners. The full-time position will be remote, ideally based in Italy. The key responsibilities include: Manage and execute mid-to-large scale non-interventional studies (NIS), and small scale Phase-3 clinical trials Create study documents, including research protocols and questionnaires and facilitate ethics reviews Manage study sites/centers on a day-to-day basis, including site onboarding, training, and remote site management in an assigned region within Europe Manage CTMS and EDC platforms Engage and communicate effectively with clients and research centers Conduct literature reviews on various scientific and business topics Create research reports and other documents in PPT and MS Word formats Create abstracts, posters, manuscripts Critical Qualifications: A minimum of bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline A minimum of 2 years of prior clinical research experience, ideally in a CRO or hospital setting A minimum of 2 years of experience with research site monitoring/management, ideally in a CRO setting Native-level proficiency in Italian Preferred Additional Skills: Proficient in project management skills Hands-on experience in managing/using CTMS and EDC portals Strong technical or business writing skills, and communication skills Familiar with scientific literature search/evaluations Data analytic skills If you are interested in exploring this opportunity with Avant Health, please submit your CV and a cover letter (including a comment on salary expectations) to info@avant-health.com.
