Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial ContractsRetail network is the beating heart of our business. With over 2000 stores around the world, we are close to our customers by inspiring them in their shopping.We are looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts to join our Legal Department.This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of a fast-paced, international retail business, supporting a wide range of commercial operations.Contract Management: draft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of commercial contracts, including: franchise and licensing agreements, sales, agency and distribution agreements, service and consultancy agreements, purchase and supply agreements, logistics, warehousing, and transportation agreements, IT, software licensing, SaaS, and digital service agreements, Outsourcing, facility management, and utilities contractsLegal Advisory: provide clear, business-oriented advice to internal stakeholders, ensure compliance of contracts with applicable laws, company policies, and best practices, support management in strategic decisions relating to partnerships, procurement, and retail operations, advise on contract liabilities and manage related litigation mattersCross-Functional Support: partner closely with departments including Sales, Procurement and Finance, contribute proactively to business discussions, understanding commercial drivers and aligning legal advice accordinglyWhat We're Looking For:Law degree with excellent academic credentials and bar qualification is essential.At least 6 years of post-qualification experience gained at a primary law firm, with a solid focus on drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreementsPrior exposure to retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce industries will be highly regardedProven track record of drafting and negotiating complex contracts.Additional knowledge of company law and extraordinary corporate operations is a plus.Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essentialWhy Join Us?
