For our office in Milan, we are looking for an Digital Procurement Specialist . The Digital Procurement Specialist is responsible for governing digital procurement processes and supplier management within a highly regulated, international biotech environment. The role ensures global standardization, regulatory compliance, and effective support of local business needs across Italy, the United States, and Albania, acting as a central reference point for procurement platforms, processes, and vendor governance across the end-to-end Source-to-Pay lifecycle.


Strictly cooperate with both Procurement and ICT teams for the ICT category strategy definition and execution including sourcing activities and order management.
Drive the digital evolution of procurement processes while ensuring robust supplier governance in a global biotech organization.
Own and manage procurement processes across Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay platforms, including Jaggaer, SAP S/4HANA, ServiceNow, and DocuSign, ensuring process consistency, data integrity, and system integration across regions.
Manage supplier qualification, registration, and onboarding processes within Jaggaer and SAP, working closely with Quality, Legal, Finance, and IT to ensure full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Lead Vendor Performance Management activities, defining and monitoring supplier KPIs related to quality, service, delivery, compliance, and cost, and supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives for strategic suppliers.
Manage complex and parallel projects related to digital procurement, vendor governance, and process optimization, supporting global rollouts, change management initiatives, and user adoption.
Proven experience in digital procurement, vendor management, or process governance roles.
Strong hands-on experience with e-procurement platforms (preferably Jaggaer) and SAP S/4HANA.
Experience in supplier qualification, onboarding, and Vendor Performance Management.
Proven track record in international and regulated environments (biotech, pharma, life sciences).
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Experience in Supplier Qualification, Registration, and Onboarding processes.
Solid understanding of Supplier Master Data governance.
Familiarity with ServiceNow for workflow, request, and ticket management.
Strong knowledge of Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process models.
Understanding of process integration, data quality, and system interoperability.
Fluent in Italian spoken and written.
Fluent in English spoken and written.
