Plant Health Researcher Assistant

We are looking for a Plant Health Researcher Assistant to work in the PLANTS Unit. Responsabilità The interim will: Update pest reports. Conduct literature searches focusing on: Plant pests; Host plants of the pests; Available detection methods and identification methods survey cards. Integrate acquired knowledge into official documentation. Functie-eisen Requirements: Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level); Previous experience in literature research and reviews; Academic background in Plants Health, Plants Biology and/or related areas; Behavioural competencies: working with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results, good level of autonomy. Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment: 12 months. Salary: approx. €2259 month before taxes. Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possible within 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.
