Fullstack Developer – Mid-Level Engineer
Software Development & Platform Engineering
Part-time, unpaid during the early phase
Hybrid work model (remote and/or on-site in Milan, Doha – Qatar, or Boston)

This position may evolve into Senior Fullstack Engineer , Platform Lead , or Technical Manager , depending on performance and project needs.

Terra™ – Underground sensor networks for soil and climate intelligence
Whiteboard™ – Smart education platforms for digital-native learning
Polaris™ by IFE – AI-driven platform for economic, geopolitical, and statistical data

Institute Itech is legally incorporated (USA, Italy) and forming its core development and engineering team .

We are seeking a Fullstack Developer – Mid-Level Engineer to contribute to the development of web platforms, APIs, dashboards, and software tools across our projects.
The selected candidate will work directly under senior technical leads (SDEM, TLPM Memoria™, Platform Manager) and collaborate with designers, AI teams, and research groups to build robust, scalable, efficient systems.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical grounding, autonomy, and the desire to grow into a strategic engineering position.

Backend & API Development
js , Python , Go , or similar
Integrate databases: SQL/NoSQL, time-series, and cloud-native databases
Frontend Development:
Develop responsive interfaces in React , Next.js , Vue , or similar
Collaborate with UI/UX teams to convert designs into functional components
Optimize web applications for performance and accessibility

Cloud & DevOps:
Deploy services using AWS, GCP, or Azure
Monitor performance, logs, and system reliability

Cross-Project Collaboration:
Collaborate with AI teams for integrations and data flows
Contribute to documentation, guidelines, and coding standards

3–6 years of experience in fullstack development
~ JavaScript/TypeScript
~ React or Next.js
~ js, Python, or Go
~ Familiarity with at least one cloud provider ( AWS, GCP, Azure )
~ Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, Redis…)
~ Understanding of API design, CI/CD, and containerization
~ Fluent in English (Italian is a plus)


Real-time data applications (WebSockets, MQTT)
AI/ML integrations or data pipelines
Edge computing or IoT-related systems
Contribution to open-source or strong GitHub portfolio
Ability to mentor junior developers

Reimbursement of travel and project-related expenses

Work across multiple high-impact innovation projects
Possibility to grow into Senior Engineer , Tech Lead , or Platform Manager
