Pole Position is Europe’s market leader in the design and production of sports merchandise for events and brands. To expand our presence in Italy, we are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager (m/f/d) based in Italy and working remotely. This position is designed as a growth role, offering clear development paths and increasing responsibility as you actively help build and scale our Italian market presence. Sales Manager Italy (m/f/d) YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Active acquisition of new customers in the Italian market Strategic expansion of business with existing customers, with increasing ownership over key accounts Needs analysis, preparation of tailored offers, and management of price and contract negotiations Continuous optimization of our sales approach, with the opportunity to actively shape our go to market strategy in Italy WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO Attractive base salary plus performance based commission Flexible working hours and fully remote work within Italy Permanent employment contract in accordance with Italian labor law Up to 30 days of paid vacation plus public holidays Personal development plan with dedicated training budget High quality IT equipment provided (iPhone, MacBook) Travel to major sports events and clients Business travel reimbursement and meal allowance Long term role with clear responsibility expansion and the opportunity to grow into a key commercial role for the Italian market WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU Independent and entrepreneurial way of thinking Strong communication and problem solving skills Excellent organizational skills Building long term relationships with event organizers and brand partners Completed vocational training and/or a degree in business administration or similar At least 2 years of experience in sales, with the ambition to grow into a role with increasing responsibility Fluent in Italian and English, any additional language is a plus An existing network within the Italian sports event industry and hands on experience in the planning and execution of events is a plus ABOUT US We supply the world’s leading sports event series, including Spartan, Xletix, and Ironman, as well as Europe’s largest running events such as the Rome, Milan, and Udine Marathons.
