We work with top researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry partners to build products that matter—combining innovation, execution, and funding strategy.What You'll DoYou will be the bridge between technology, product strategy, and public funding. Your work starts from promising technologies (internal or from research partners) and turns them into clear product narratives, fundable project plans, and competitive proposals.You will take care of:Product concept development (from tech → product)Analyze technologies and research results to identify use cases, target users, and market pain points.Translate complex science into product concepts, value propositions, and positioning.Support teams in defining roadmaps, MVP logic, validation plans, and adoption pathways (clinical/industrial where relevant).Proposal leadershipScout and select relevant funding opportunities.Lead the full proposal process: structure, narrative, work plan, consortium inputs, budget logic, timelines, risk/mitigation.Coordinate contributions from internal teams and external partners.Ensure proposals are consistent, compliant, and submission-ready: templates, annexes, admin docs, formatting, quality control.Funding strategy and portfolio supportBuild reusable assets: pitch decks, one-pagers, concept notes, impact narratives, standard sections.Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and concepts, supporting prioritization based on strategic fit and probability of success.Who You AreYou can move from technology details to clear narratives and execution plans, and you enjoy coordinating multiple stakeholders toward a deadline.You should have:2+ yearsof experience in at least one of the following: grant writing, proposal management, innovation consulting, technology transfer, product strategy (preferably in life sciences/healthcare/biotech/deep tech).Proven ability to write and structurehigh-quality documents in English.Solid project management skills: planning, tracking, stakeholder management, deadline discipline.Ability to understand and synthesize technical content (you don't need to be the inventor, but you must "get it").A proactive mindset: you take ownership, spot gaps early, and drive solutions.Nice to have:Experience with Horizon Europe.Familiarity with concepts like TRLs, clinical validation, regulatory pathways, IP strategy, exploitation plans.Background or strong exposure to biotech, medtech, diagnostics, synthetic biology, digital health, energy/cleantech (depending on Day One pipeline).Why You'll Love Working With UsImpact:help bring meaningful technologies into real products and markets.Variety:different technologies, domains, and funding instruments.Ownership:you'll lead critical pieces of venture creation and funding strategy.Team:collaborative, mission-driven, and hands-on.Flexibility:hybrid work model; freelance collaboration is welcome with clear scopes and milestones.Contract OptionsWe're open to different setups depending on seniority and availability:Full-time employment(Rome-based, hybrid)Freelance / Partita IVA(project-based or retainer, flexible workload)
