Partner with the best As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers. Leading the installation/ maintenance activities, you will work with customers to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant installations. In front of Baker Hughes customers will be the on-site expert, continually developing your knowledge and skills to deliver innovative solutions. As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer – Heavy Duty Gas turbines, you will be responsible for: Providing technical direction for activities to Customer, junior colleagues and manpower labor crew, in order to ensure safety & quality compliance of the activities carried out. Supervising, overhauling, troubleshooting and commissioning Heavy Duty Gas turbines products at customer sites. Preparing and updating technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams. Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed and completed according to company standards. Properly managing company digital tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material and drawings. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Mechanical Engineering bachelor degree, or equivalent experience. Have experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar). Have good working knowledge of the installation and/or maintenance of rotating equipment. Display strong customer service/orientation mindset, experience in interacting with customers on critical conversations/decisions. Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams tuning the way the message is delivered, based on stakeholders technical understanding. Have an EU passport/ European Work permit and be fluent in both Italian & English language (both oral and written). Be available to travel most of the time (up to 70%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities.
