Mechanical Engineering Technician

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. Key Tasks The selected candidate will be involved in mechanical design, manufacturing support, integration, and test activities , following the full component lifecycle: from 3D modeling and production release to assembly and test support . In particular, you will: Design mechanical parts and assemblies using 3D CAD tools and produce related 2D drawings . Support industrialization activities and interface with external suppliers . Perform mechanical integration and assembly of parts and sub-assemblies. Execute light manual machining operations on prototypes and parts (drilling, tapping, light milling, helicoil insertion). Support mechanical, functional, and environmental testing and troubleshooting activities. Support structural and/or thermal analyses and related technical documentation. Perform quality control of externally manufactured mechanical parts, including dimensional checks. Prepare technical documentation for design, integration, and test activities. Key Skills & Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Good knowledge of technical drawings and dimensional tolerances. Proficiency with 3D CAD tools , preferably SolidWorks , and ability to produce 2D drawings. Practical, hands-on attitude and strong attention to detail. Basic knowledge of materials, machining technologies, and measurement instruments. Ability to work in team environments and meet project deadlines. Native Italian speaker or full professional proficiency in Italian . Good knowledge of the English language .
