Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer motivated to work with the cutting-edge frontend technologies, a person with a solid background in web development and modern UX/UI design principles. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers bridging the gap between the idea and the technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. You will work in a young, dynamic and agile team in Jobrapido's Technology Team. What Will You Be Doing? Contribute to the development of new user facing features giving strong focus on the involved user experience. Maintain the Jobrapido application ecosystem user interfaces to ensure the best reliability of the services. Analyze the product ideas and UX/UI mockups, checking the technical implications also in terms of user experience and accessibility. Participate in technical issues and conduct troubleshooting. Optimize the performance values and the overall speed of the web applications. Write clean-maintainable code and documentation, following the modern best practices in software engineering. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders in an agile team Evolve Jobrapido's code base to keep state-of-the-art technology What Are the Competencies & Qualifications Needed Excellent knowledge of semantic HTML5, CSS3 and mobile (responsive) development Good knowledge of CSS frameworks (e.g. Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap) and CSS preprocessors such SASS Good knowledge of TypeScript, React and React Hooks, including architecture pattern such Flux Good knowledge of RESTful APIs and related integration techniques Good knowledge of Git as version control system and common workflows Good knowledge of SEO principlesand best practices Experience in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) Proficient in using modern design/mockup applications such Figma Good understanding of/experience with agile methodology BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience Good written and spoken English Nice to have Experience with Node and/or with full-stack frameworks (e.g. Next.js) Experience in building and/or implementing scalable design systems Experience in implementing web accessibility standards (WCAG) Experience in End-to-end testing (E2E) Proficient in using build tools such as Webpack Familiarity with traditional backend technologies (e.g. Java) and template engines such Handlebars What do we offer Attractive package.
