Overview Senior Technician (Transmission/SATCOM) Location: Grazzanise, Italy Security Clearance: NATO Secret Reference No: C00 4 617 / Grazzanise Qualifications Vocational training at a higher level in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or relevant discipline with 2 years of post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience within the past 8 years. Basic mechanical and electrical engineering skills for deployable terminals; Elevation and Azimuth motor drives, servo drives, mechanical and electrical sensors and transducers; Experience in reading complex system diagrams (electrical and mechanical) and fault finding techniques in Ultra High Frequency and Super High frequency band based deployable transmission systems. Responsibilities Assisting in performing 3rd level maintenance on all deployable and static CIS systems, diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing Transmission and SATCOM systems ; Assisting in performing overhauls, modifications, refurbishments, and upgrades to transmission systems as directed by the supervisor ; Assisting in planning, synchronizing, scheduling, and tracking CSSC assets for corrective and preventative maintenance on all NATO CIS equipment based on Central, Operational, and Deployable Service Level Agreements .
