Accountabilities

This position is responsible for managing all functions within the supply chain for Leather goods, RTW, Lifestyle accessories, Footwear, Materials, Quality for all European manufacturing. This role requires a candidate to interact with multiple cross functional partners, as well as overseas offices and suppliers. Candidate must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment. Be extremely organized, clear communicator. Plans and directs all aspects of the organization's supply chain objectives and initiatives while supervise the daily operations to meet the designated KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages all supply chain functions which may include, but not limited to, production planning, materials procurements, direct and outsourcing, vendors control and selection.
  • Ability to identify needed change and supports change management initiatives as rolled out organizationally to support business and company strategies.
  • Directs all supply chain projects and daily operations to ensure they are on time and within budgetary controls.
  • Lead and manage the entire development and production process for all product category made in Italy, Europe.
  • Works with operations demand planning, S&OP and scheduling to ensure supply base is able to execute on forecasted demand and all required performance levels.
  • To govern the Italy sourcing team in execution to accomplish designated goals.
  • Works with other business stakeholders to find methods to improve customer experience with right sourcing processes and platform for production cost, material and quality excellence.
  • Focus on area of improvements within the supply chain functions.
  • Manage and assure KPI are accomplished – on time delivery, production defective rate, quality, technical engineering, cost and MU.
  • Lead and manage the Italy/European sourcing the right product and cost to boost company's revenue and profit.
  • Develop Italy and European suppliers/factory to achieve significant contribution to meet price, quality, margin and on time delivery.
  • Provide a final decision regarding technical problems with samples development, quality etc.
  • Support Chief Supply Chain Officer in data, reports, projects execution with Italy and European country of origin.
  • Carry out and support Corporate / Chief Supply Chain direction – planning, analysis, strategy of Italy operations.
  • Support Chief Supply Chain Officer in carrying out implementation, process streamlining within Italy and European supply chain operation to achieve maximum results.
  • To obtain Italy factory "know how" and achieve the engineering excellent to MCM products.

Requirements

  • University degree is preferred.
  • 10 or more years of experience leading the supply chain management and manufacturing role.
  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of field's concepts, practices, procedures.
  • Excellent leadership qualities.
  • Ability to identify needed change and supports change management initiatives as rolled out organizationally to support business and company strategies.
  • Must have strong analytical skills and communication skills.
  • Strong planning skills and project management expertise.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strategic planning and thinking, systems analysis and evaluation
  • Complex problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • In-depth understanding of risk management within the supply chain of the company
  • Supply Chain Managers must also have several years of experience working with other departments to identify and resolve system and procedural weaknesses.
