Pre-Sales Engineer - Cybersecurity

At Ingecom Ignition Italia, we are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our technical team and act as a trusted technical advisor for partners and customers.
This role is key in supporting the sales organization by designing, presenting, and validating IT solutions, combining strong technical expertise with business understanding and excellent communication skills.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer , you will be responsible for:
Working closely with the sales team to support all pre-sales activities, including customer meetings, solution presentations, and technical workshops.
Acting as a technical reference for partners and end customers throughout the pre-sales cycle.
Managing and executing Proof of Concept (PoC) activities, from planning to validation, in collaboration with resellers and end customers.
Supporting initial configuration, deployment, and validation of solutions during early project phases.
Delivering technical training sessions, workshops, and enablement activities (classroom, online, or on-the-job).
Keeping up to date with market trends, emerging technologies, and vendor solutions.

Proven experience in IT, preferably in pre-sales, technical consulting, or engineering roles.
Strong ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders: sales teams, vendors, partners, and customers.
Good command of English (B1–B2 level), for interaction with vendors and technical documentation.
Willingness to travel within Italy as required.

IoT / OT systems
Enterprise hardware and software technologies

Experience delivering technical training or workshops.
Knowledge of or experience with vendors such as: Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Proofpoint, SentinelOne, Vectra, or similar IT solutions.
