Job Description Global Corporate & Commercial Italy is the unit of Generali Italia S.p.A. that develops insurance services for medium and large companies. Based in Milan or Rome, in Risk Engineering & Loss Prevention, department of GC&C Italy - Underwriting. You will perform risk assessments to identify, analyze and evaluate risks, as well as share the best practice for the risk improvement, with the goal of enhancing awareness, risk quality and underwriting profitability. You will support the global strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the targets. Main tasks Carry out on-site surveys and desk activities primarily for the Property Line of business, for domestic and multinational Clients, with the capability to drive the relationship with internal and external stakeholders Issue and check reports with the results of risk assessments and proposed mitigation measures, to support the risk management journey and help businesses succeed Requirements University degree in an engineering science discipline 3 years of relevant experience as risk engineer in multinational companies Proven knowledge of the main fire protection NFPA Standards and practice in project review of fire protection systems will be considered as a plus Ability to work in a team and in an international context, fluent in English and Italian Analytical mindset, good and planning skills B driving license and availability to frequent business trips Company Profile Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
