Okta is hiring for a Country Manager – Italy to land and expand our footprint in Italy. This role is responsible for evolving and executing a GTM strategy, with a focus on winning more complex and scalable deals with our leading Okta Identity Cloud Solutions. Managing a small number of Account Executives, the role will involve nurturing and growing the team further, aligning our global strategy to the current and future opportunities in country and developing operational excellence in order to ensure unity when opening and closing deals. Responsibilities Lead and grow a team of Account Executives to achieve individual and team quotas Grow the accounts in Italy leveraging your own network built from previous experiences in leadership and sales Support direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other resources as required Embrace Okta's 1 core value to always love our customers Quote, negotiate, and assist Account Executives in closing highly complex transactions through the development of executive-level relationships with key prospects Build effective working partnerships with your Okta colleagues (channel partners, sales engineering, business value management, customer first many more globally) with humility and enthusiasm Own the GTM Strategy for Italy with a focus on cross-collaboration, entrepreneurship and long term vision/planning Qualifications Deep understanding of the Italian Market and SaaS sales (Cyber Security being a plus) Experience with scaling opportunities and leading and winning complex deals, predominantly new business Experience in building successful sales teams and attracting talent Ability to deliver results in a global, matrix environment Usage and understanding of MEDDPICCC and AI tools Strong communication and presentation skills Fluent Italian and open to travel ~20% of the time Core Leadership Competencies Builds Effective Teams: Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals Demonstrates Self-Awareness (EQ): Using a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses Develops Talent: Developing people to meet both their career goals and the organization's goals Drives Results: Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances Strategic Mindset: Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies Benefits Amazing Benefits Making Social Impact Developing Talent and Fostering Connection Community at Okta Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
