Hays Italy, part of the multinational Hays group, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, which offers consulting services in the Information Technology sector with the aim of contributing to the success and technological progress of individuals and companies, is looking for a Release Train & Dev Ops Engineer who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end value flow across multiple development teams & acting as a servant leader & facilitator, ensuring continuous & high-quality releases aligned with business objectives. Field: cybersecurity & advanced digital defense solutions Key Responsibilities Facilitation & Coordination Lead & facilitate key SAFe/Agile events, including Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demo & Inspect & Adapt (I& A) Serve as the central communication point between development teams, Product Management, stakeholders & internal departments Manage & optimize the value stream through the Agile Release Train (ART), leveraging tools such as You Track for tracking features, dependencies & program backlog Dev Ops & CI/CD Support development teams in defining, maintaining & improving CI/CD pipelines Oversee integration & usage of tools for automated builds & deployments (Jenkins) & for artifact management & versioning (JFrog Artifactory) Promote Dev Ops best practices, automation & Ia C principles Quality Assurance & Performance Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test planning & execution using Test Rail for test case management & reporting Support performance engineering by integrating & managing load & stress testing (JMeter) Define & monitor key metrics related to quality, stability & performance Release Management & Communication Manage the overall release plan, coordinating all activities from development through production deployment Ensure timely & accurate creation & distribution of release notes, documenting new features, fixes & release details Core technical skills Agile Frameworks: Scrum, Kanban or SAFe (strongly preferred) Project/Issue Tracking: You Track, Jira or Azure Dev Ops CI/CD Automation: Jenkins, Git Lab CI or Circle CI Artifact Management: JFrog Artifactory or Nexus Test Management: Test Rail, Zephyr or Xray Performance Testing: JMeter or other load testing tools Ia C: Terraform, Ansible or Cloud Formation Version Control: Git, Git Lab or Git Hub Requirements 5+ years of experience in Agile leadership roles (RTE, Senior Scrum Master or Agile Dev Ops Lead) Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks & Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies Hands-on experience in managing CI/CD pipelines & Dev Ops automation Deep understanding of branching strategies, automated testing & continuous deployment processes Ability to analyze & optimize end-to-end development flow from planning to release Excellent communication, negotiation & conflict management skills, to connect technical teams & business stakeholders to ensure a consistent & high-quality value stream Location: hybrid 2/5 – Rome Freelancers are highly welcomed too Candidates of any gender identity, after reviewing the mandatory privacy notice available at are kindly requested to submit their CV in PDF format, quoting the reference number (Ref. 950599).
