What does the role look like? He/she makes Lean Thinking and Continuous Process Improvement a part of the organizational culture. The Engineer's goal is to focus on customer‐value activities and remove waste. After reducing waste, ensure the remaining steps flow smoothly without interruptions or delays. Responsibilities Initiate new projects and follow up existing ones, reporting to the Production Manager. Estimate production times, define balancing and ideal mix. Define production line layouts according to Lean Manufacturing concepts. Create, update, and follow up assembly work instructions. Train and support operators. Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Work with Engineering Team to identify and implement process improvements and best practices through 5S and lean principles. Represent an important link between operators and R&D engineers, playing a key role in new products introduction projects and acting as a Production representative in PTMs. Optimize flows for arrival of materials from warehouse to production. What we expect from you? Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. 2‐3 years of relevant experience in a Lean‐oriented manufacturing setting. Demonstrated skill and achievement in implementing Lean practices. Preferably Six Sigma certification and proven track of applied methodology. Attention to detail; not shy away from rolling up sleeves and getting involved. Self‐motivated, able to work under pressure. Full of energy, eager to work with Internal Logistics and Production Team, and happy to organize and optimize the production environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), experience with AutoCAD and fluent in English. Capability to improve business results, drive change and make things happen. Display consistency between words and actions, act honestly, directly with people, raise flags when things go wrong. Drive customer success and demonstrate genuine interest in accurately understanding and acting on customer needs and expectations. Passion for sustainability, example in following policies and practices and honoring commitments. What will you gain?
