Overview Senior Accountant based in Milan to support the French entities of a multinational group. You will handle day-to-day accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, collaborating with local advisors and auditors. The role emphasize process improvements, internal controls, and cross-border finance activities within a European team. You work in a fast-paced environment driving accuracy and timely reporting, with a clear focus on the French market and GAAP knowledge. - 48.000 RAL Responsabilità Manage day-to-day accounting for the Group's French entities Oversee AP, AR, sales, purchases and non-trade payables Support cash management, payments and financial reporting Maintain and review financial records including fixed assets and payroll postings Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations Manage VAT returns and statutory tax reporting with local advisors Liaise with external auditors and resolve accounting matters Contribute to process improvements, internal controls and finance projects Provide operational support for meetings and corporate activities Requisiti fondamentali Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in general and tax accounting Solid knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and reporting Experience with finance, asset management and payment processes Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel Fluent in English and Italian; French is a plus Knowledge of French GAAP and local accounting/tax regulations is preferred but not mandatory Attention to detail Reliability Problem-solving SAP Microsoft Excel Tax accounting and VAT reporting
