Overview In this role you will manage and optimize databases across Unix/Linux and Windows environments to support high-availability systems for intralogistics solutions. You will work within a global IT team to install, configure, and upgrade database and application services, ensuring reliability and performance for customer systems. You'll handle data migrations, backups, and 24x7 standby support, collaborating across departments to deliver robust data infrastructure. Retribuzione / Benefits ~13th salary ~ Yearly health inspection ~ Bonus ~ Cafeteria ~ Hybrid working ~ Great Team Spirit Responsabilità Install, configure, and troubleshoot databases on Unix/Linux and Windows platforms Install and configure application servers (WebLogic, WildFly) Apply system upgrades/patches on customer environments (remote or onsite) Configure and ensure high availability (Data Guard) for database systems Perform data migrations between DB versions Develop and enhance backup and restore strategies Document changes in change log and asset management database Provide standby 24x7 support and perform proactive problem analysis Conduct regular database health checks and generate improvement recommendations Adhere to Swisslog processes and standards Requisiti fondamentali Degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent Minimum 5 years as Database Administrator Experience with Oracle DB, MS SQL, PostgreSQL Scripting expertise (SQL, Shell, PL/SQL) Experience with application servers WebLogic, WildFly, JBoss Proficient English (written and spoken) Strong collaboration across teams and departments Proactive, reliable, and customer-oriented Ability to work independently and willingness to travel internationally Good communication, flexibility, and learning mindset collaboration proactive mindset customer-oriented behavior Oracle DB MS SQL PostgreSQL
