International Welding Engineer

We are currently looking for an International Welding Engineer with at least five years of experience in oil and gas field, including metallurgical engineering, gained in a construction or fabrication facilities.

The resource develop and qualify Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and related Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), follow up and supervise welder qualifications testing, interact with welding operation (manufacturing and repair), suppliers, 3rd party, NDE personnel and meet customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in pipeline construction;
  • B.Sc. in metallurgical/materials engineering, or welding/materials engineering technology with additional experience;
  • Main standards and Codes applicable to metallic materials and related manufacturing processes, Welding and Quality Management Systems, NDE, design and fabrication of pressure equipment and piping materials (e.g., ASME Sect II-V-VIII-IX-B31.3, ASTM, API, NACE, AWS, EN, etc.);
  • IWE/IWT - International Welding Engineer or Technologist;
  • Must be a team player with leadership, motivation and technical skills;
  • Fluent Level of Business English Language.

Workplace : Parma and availability to business trips.
