Facilities Supervisor, Relatability Maintenance Engineering

The Facilities Supervisor – Maintenance, will have a significant impact on customer experience. The Supervisor will have the ability to lead other technicians, design solutions for challenging problems, manage outside contractors, be on call for emergencies, to handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet time lines. The Supervisor will develop plans on how to accomplish engineering departmental goals and will be responsible for the leadership/development and coaching of the team through Performance Management. This role also leads the technical team in providing both a reactive and pro-active maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the Amazon Facility. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected stakeholders and work efficiently to fix the issue.
Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
Management of contractors.
Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical/Industrial/Electronics/Automation/Control Systems
Experience of 1 to 2 years of conveyors/automation/control systems maintenance
Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
Experience fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/Automation systems.
Experience in interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings.
Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
Experience in Auto-CAD drawing
Experience of troubleshooting through PLC
Understanding of sustainability concepts, such as energy-saving initiatives, waste management, and best facility practices.
Knowledge of HVAC, fire system, electrical, and mechanical systems is a plus.
