Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time, self-motivated and committed Registered Nurse - ( Clinical Nurse) in our Micheal Lee Centre. The hours for the position are Monday - Friday 7.00 am - 3/3.30 pm. This role will work alongside a 2IC Registered Nurse and several Carers to provide holistic care to our residents.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven ability to lead a team and foster teamwork;
- Ability to provide education, support and mentoring to our clinical and care teams;
- Demonstrate effectiveness at managing their own responsibilities and prioritising workload;
- Able to identify, resolve and manage problems and conflicts;
- Sound understanding of AN-ACC, Aged Care Act and accreditation requirements;
- Proven clinical knowledge and experience in aged care is essential;
- Strong working knowledge of dementia diseases;
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service;
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- A current National Police Certificate (no older than six months),
- Current AHPRA registration,
- Current Flu and Covid-19 Vaccination, and
- Permanent Australian working rights are essential requirements for this position.
