For the people of GE Aerospace, their work isn't just a job. It's their passion and purpose. As a Quality Engineer, you will review product quality associated with the manufacturing process. You will take part in departmental operations and you will be responsible for planning / execution. Serve as the interface with the customer's quality team, addressing quality issues and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
Write detailed reports and corrective actions and present them during weekly meetings with the customer
Review and analyze technical data, drawings and work instructions to identify and resolve quality issues
Coordinate with internal teams, including business leaders, other quality engineers, production engineers, and engineering teams, to troubleshoot and perform failure analysis
Assist in resolving quality issues in production
Master's Degree in Engineering or related field
Previous experience as a quality engineer within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of quality assurance and / or quality control processes
Understanding of industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing and quality control
Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to supporting and addressing customer quality concerns, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with quality standards
Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
Fluent Italian and English
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Experience in reviewing and analyzing technical data
Ability to work independently, managing tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
