We are looking for a Site Supervisor , to join the Tenova Material Handling Business Unit, for the supply of material handling equipment, with a specific focus for port and material handling terminals loading and unloading machines.

You will take responsibility of the following activities :

• Achieve the construction phase milestones of the project within the target time, budget cost, quality and safety requirements;
• Act as Site Representative and be the main interface with the Customer (keeping good relationship) and Sub-Contractors as well as with the Head Office during the site life;
• Reporting periodically to both of a.m. parties the site progress, schedule and all the other site issue;
• Support the HSE preparing the Piano Operativo di Sicurezza (POS) and the Documento Valutazione dei Rischi (DVR) and follow up at site the attendance to all its prescriptions and requirements.
• Carry out daily report of the activities performed along the day and the criticisms;
• Support to the Project Manager in preparing the time schedule of the construction activities;
• Management of the budget to purchase the materials necessary to allow the site progress;
• Preparing minute of meeting of the periodical meeting with Customer and Sub-Contractors representatives;
• Carry out the material/equipment OPI, organize, schedule and follow ‐ up the erection/commissioning activities with the co ‐ operation of the site team;
• Produce, when all the site activities are completed, the site final report with all the feedback;
• Suggest of the disposal solution in coordination with the Head Office;
• Support the Head Office in managing claims with the Customer, Suppliers and Sub ‐ Contractors.

Requirements :

• Ten years of experience of construction site in the mining industry;
• Site supervisor experience is a plus
• A first experience as assembly supervisor or launch coordinator is a plus;
• Interaction and Reporting; Planning & Scheduling;
• Ability to work in a multiethnic team;
• Ability in drafting technical solution using Autocad software;
• Programming and knowledge of modern computer tools.
