Overview As Associate Operations Director at Deel, you will oversee day-to-day operations, optimize performance, and lead cross-functional initiatives to scale processes and reduce friction. Your work supports Deel's global growth, improving service delivery and customer outcomes. You'll drive automation, risk controls, and market-ready readiness for new services. This role offers a chance to shape operational excellence in a fast-paced, fintech-enabled SaaS environment. Retribuzione / Benefits Remote work flexibility with optional WeWork access Additional perks and benefits based on status and country Disability accommodations on request Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual work and boost speed and accuracy Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance tools and reduce friction in processes Develop and enforce controls for compliance, risk, and security Improve fraud prevention, risk management, and regulatory alignment Drive customer-first process improvements and expand self-service options Improve service performance by reducing turnaround times and improving resolution quality Oversee readiness for expansion into new markets or services and coordinate launches Align processes with go-to-market strategies and ensure smooth onboarding and adoption Provide frameworks and resources to enable strong customer outcomes and post-launch optimization 12+ years of operations experience with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments (Tech/FinTech startup experience a plus) ~ Proven track record in leading and scaling large cross-functional teams ~ KPI-driven with a results orientation ~ Experience in building successful products ~ Background in FinTech, management consulting, investment banking, or fast-paced startups ~ Strong analytical skills with ability to convert data into actionable insights (SQL a plus) ~ Willingness to collaborate and contribute across teams ~ cross-functional collaboration ~ data-driven decision making ~ SQL (plus) ~ data-driven analysis ~ product-building experience
