Offer Description The candidate will be involved in the design, acquisition, and analysis of neurophysiological data as part of studies on ME/CFS and Long COVID, with a specific focus on identifying the neurophysiological correlates of fatigue, post-exertional malaise, and alterations in brain state. In particular, the candidate will perform advanced analysis of TMS-EEG data, participating in the various phases of the processing pipeline, from quality control and data preprocessing, including the removal of TMS artifacts as well as ocular and muscular artifacts, to
cortical source reconstruction and the quantitative analysis of neurophysiological signals. Activities will include
time-domain and frequency-domain analysis, time-frequency analysis, characterization of TMS-evoked potentials and brain oscillations, as well as the study of functional and directional connectivity at the source level.
