Senior DevOps Engineer hlpy, born in 2020, is a tech-driven roadside assistance insurance start-up founded by visionaries who saw a gap in the market and redefined the industry with a cutting-edge digital solution What started as a bold idea in Italy quickly expanded to France and Spain, and as of September 2024, we are proud to announce our entry into Germany This marks another milestone in our journey to becoming the go-to solution for modern roadside assistance across Europe— and beyond. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with around 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructures and automation processes. This person will act as a technical leader within the team, responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of the company's digital platforms. The ideal candidate has extensive experience across modern cloud ecosystems (with a preference for AWS), deep knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (we are using Terraform) , and a strong collaborative mindset between development and operations. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performing cloud infrastructures. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for multiple development teams. Implement Infrastructure as Code strategies (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar). Manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.). Monitor performance, reliability, and security using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.). Collaborate with development teams to improve release cycles and software quality. Ensure system resilience, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies. Contribute to DevSecOps best practices and drive the culture of automation. Mentor and support more junior engineers in the team. Requirements 8+ years of overall IT experience , with at least 5 years in DevOps or infrastructure roles . Strong expertise in AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud Platform . Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.). Solid knowledge of Terraform , Ansible , or equivalent IaC tools. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes . Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems . Fluent in English. Nice to have Experience with microservices or serverless architectures . Knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps principles. Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, etc.). Familiarity with secret management tools (Vault, AWS SSM, etc.).
