Job Summary
Manage a group of experienced technical writers to produce customers' operation and maintenance documentation. Ensure on-time provision of O&M deliverables and milestones in accordance with project schedule and budget. Ensure preparation and delivery of Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalog, and Training Program Plan.
Accountabilities:
- Manage a group of experienced technical writers to produce customers' operation and maintenance documentation
- Ensure on-time provision of O&M deliverables and milestones in accordance with project schedule and budget
- Ensure preparation and delivery of Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalog, and Training Program Plan
- Ensure the preparation of Technical specifications for subcontractor's manuals and training courses
- Ensure Technical Writers internal teams effectively prioritize high-priority feature release work with other content, experience, and process improvements
- Develop an understanding of how our customers use the manuals and what content needs are helpful
- Review and implement customer feedback
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, including new editor software, and coordinate the implementation and communication of these changes
- Ensure the review of operation and maintenance manuals delivered by the subcontractors
- Participate in projects, bidding, and delivery phases within project schedule

- 2-5 years' experience as a project manager or people manager with a technical documentation team
- Minimum 3 years' railway system engineering experience and knowledge of the integrated systems that comprise a metro system
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of technical products, processes, and applications
- Ability to learn new technical skills quickly
- Knowledge and experience in application of the railway Technical-Logistic support documentation, associated with any technical system, either rolling stock and/or a rail vehicle
- International experience and ability to manage international projects
- Knowledge and ability to review maintenance documentation from sub-suppliers
- Techniques and ways to handle the relationship with a supplier in an integrated supply chain approach
- Willing to cover a global role
