SummaryThe DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery of Deel's applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with Development, IT, and Product teams to improve deployment processes, automate manual tasks, and ensure that Deel's systems are scalable, secure, and high-performing. By improving infrastructure, reducing downtime, and speeding up the release of new features, your work will directly impact Deel's ability to innovate and maintain high-quality services for its global customers.

ResponsibilitiesWork with the latest AWS technologies like Kubernetes (EKS), S3, Postgres, DocumentDB, and more.

Manage our AWS production deployments (SaaS) running on AWS EKS.
Design and develop tools for managing and applying DevOps principles, such as CI/CD automation and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) on our Cloud-based production systems. Work with the team to enhance production stability, availability, and reliability.

Install, configure, update and troubleshoot our product microservices and tools including databasesDesign and manage different monitoring and observability tools for troubleshooting and resolving production issues.

Qualifications5+ years of relevant DevOps work experience in Production environmentsStrong working experience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with CI/CD tools (Drone, Jenkins, GitHub actions or similar)Strong IT background. A deep understanding and familiarity with: Networking: K8S ingress, services, and Load BalancersAWS services, EKS, Postgres, S3, Mongo, SES, SNS, SQS.
Experience in automated deployment and infrastructure.

Knowledge and experience with alerting and monitoring tools.

Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
