Overview We're actively seeking a HSES Manager to support the construction and commissioning of major industrial projects in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Your Responsibilities Develop HSE plans, reports, procedures, methods and processes, and manage key safety and environmental indicators. Provide strong safety leadership and direction. Establish and maintain the Site HSE management system, including manuals, plans, procedures, documentation and reporting systems. Ensure correct and compliant HSE support for site personnel and contractors/subcontractors. Establish HSE standards and protocols, ensuring deep understanding of associated regulations and legal requirements. Support the safety culture by ensuring compliance with established safety procedures. Ensure environmental best standards are used on the project. Perform hazard identification workshops, risk assessment workouts, emergency response plan drills, toolbox talks, site inductions and training exercise requirements. Lead and participate in HSE audits. Your Experience Experience in HSE Management role on projects in an industrial sector such as electricity production, gas production, oil, chemistry, refining, etc. Thorough knowledge of QA/QC for large projects. Ability to lead and function within a combined client and several subcontractors and partners. Experience, energy and resilience as well as proven systems, techniques and methods to assess and deliver the project HSE process, on time and to budget, keeping environmental constraint to the highest standard. Effective communication and leadership skills. Your Profile University degree in HSE or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE studies – risks - impacts. Fluency in English is mandatory.
