• Execute strategic trades of wheat bran and other millers by products to optimise profitability, whilst managing positions and taking actions to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities.
• Utilise existing network to maintain and expand the client base, providing exceptional service by understanding client needs and ensuring timely execution.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies, monitor and analyse risk exposure, adjusting strategies for a balanced portfolio.
• Develop, update, and communicate market intelligence, including reports on key indicators such as prices, stocks, and market sentiment.
• Role reports to Head of Millers By Product Division.

• Proven experience as a wheat bran trader with a transferable book of business.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field (advanced degree is a plus).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a deep understanding of commodity markets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Must be located in Cape Town.
