The role – what is it we would like you to do?

Currie & Brown is currently looking for a senior project manager for our Milan office. The successful candidate will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as preferred service provider.

Responsibilities for the successful candidate(s) will include:

  • Working closely with QS and Commercial resources (where appointed / allocated separately)
  • Establishing pre and post Construction project specific management systems
  • Identifying key issues / potential problems / risks and making recommendations to clients
  • Producing periodic reports, to suit client and internal needs
  • Liaising day to day with consultants, contractors, suppliers and specialists
  • Coordinating sub-contractors and suppliers directly appointed by clients
  • Organising project quality control processes, snagging and defects rectification
  • Organising and managing migration activities, including move management
  • Managing project close out

Qualifications

  • Project Manager, or Technical Architect, with proven experience of managing complex projects
  • Has worked in consultancy, and preferably also for a contractor
  • Experience in Hospitality and Leisure projects
  • High level of skill in Excel and MS Project
  • Experience of a range of project types
  • Experience of working within projects within a range of sectors of varying value
  • Some previous responsibility for projects with an all-in budget of 15€ million
  • Experience of site management preferable, but not essential
  • High level in spoken and written English
