Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) transports natural gas from the giant Shah Deniz field in the Azerbaijanisector of the Caspian Sea to Europe. TAP's exit points in Greece and Italy enable the delivery of natural gas from Azerbaijan to a range of European markets. TAP is connected to Interconnector Greece Bulgaria (IGB) which started its commercial operations in October 2022, delivering Caspian gas to Bulgaria, thereby enhancing the security of energy supplies in one more European country.
As a key part of the Southern Gas Corridor, TAP is strategically and economically important to Europe and essential in providing reliable access to a new source of natural gas. TAP plays a significant role in boosting Europe's energy security, supply diversification, as well as its decarbonisation objectives.
We are looking for our HR Business Partner in Italy: TAP's HR presence on the ground, based at the Pipeline Receiving Terminal in Melendugno.
Reporting to the HRBP & TA Lead, you will be the first point of reference on people matters for employees and managers in Italy, the local partner of site management, and the Italian interface of TAP's HR teams — Reward, HR Operations, Engagement & Development and Talent Acquisition.
Be the first point of contact for employees and line managers in Italy, with practical guidance on HR policies and processes
Partner with local management on people topics and manage employee relations cases, from grievances to disciplinary processes
Act as TAP's day-to-day interface with employee representatives and trade unions, applying the CCNL Energy & Oil and company-level agreements
Deliver the employee lifecycle end to end — from onboarding to offboarding — and coordinate payroll inputs with our HR Operations team and external provider
Bring local data and context into company-wide reward, development and talent processes, and run them in Italy
Ensure HR practices in Italy comply with labour law, the CCNL and company policies
A degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline
At least 5 years in HR Generalist or HR Business Partner roles in Italy
Hands‐on experience with Italian labour law, collective agreements and trade union relations in a unionised environment
Experience in an industrial, energy or similarly regulated environment
Experience in an international company, or a clear drive to work across countries and teams
Confidence with HR systems and reporting (Cornerstone or equivalent, Excel)
Native‐level Italian and fluent English, at least C1 (TAP's working language)
What we ask of you is matched by what you can ask of TAP: the guidance of dedicated expert teams, room to grow, and trust from day one.
We are committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace where all applicants are considered based on merit, skills, and experience. In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive:
Compensation will be offered within a predefined and internally benchmarked salary range aligned with the role's responsibilities and your experience. The base salary range for this position is EUR 50,000 to EUR 55,000 gross per year + variable + standard TAP benefits.
Equal pay principles and objective criteria are applied throughout the recruitment and reward process. xrdztoy TAP will not request information on previous or current salary during the recruitment process.
