Electrical Supervisor

Vard Electro offers full-scale electrical engineering design, marine procurement, and integrated solutions for vessels in the marine industry. Due to increasing workload, we are searching for a skilled Electrical Supervisor - Site Manager to follow project activity at Yard (Ancona).

The position will be responsible for the technical and administrative activity of Vard Electro projects at Yard, as assigned. In particular Electrical Supervisor to be responsible for HSE at Yard, coordinate Yard activity for internal and external team (typically 10 to 20 people), attend Yard progress meeting, act as direct Yard interface, ensure activity report are filled in and finalized with Client.

Position will be hierarchically responding to Vard Electro Italy and functionally report to Vard Electro AS.

• Site management activities (office, warehouse)
• Plan and control resource plan to fulfill commissioning milestones
• Interface with Yard representative
• Daily timesheets for Site resources
• Daily report with PM
• Ensure activities are done according to quality expected
• Assign task to the local team
• Fill in Yard forms (entry permissions, HSE)
• Direct electrical work, where deemed necessary

Qualifications

• Electrical background
• Professional experience may substitute the need for a High School diploma
• Marine and Yard experience a must
• Good knowledge of electrical products, market, supply chain
• 3-5 years previous experience on the Electrical Systems is a requirement
• Preferred competence areas:
  • electrical distribution
  • switchboards
  • automation, HVAC Control
  • propulsion
  • Certification PES/PEI/PAV (with validity or willingness to take it)
• Accountable, proactive, open minded
• Willing to take challenges, not afraid about changes
