Key Responsibilities & Authorities

  1. Responsible for the development, improvement and maintenance of the software.
  2. Responsible for the meeting of the developed software to the requirements of the related standards (such as EMC and Safety).
  3. Responsible for the following defined development processes.
  4. Responsible for collaboration with other sections within R&D (such as Mechanical and Electronics) during the development of products.
  5. Develops software for existing and new equipment, together with multidisciplinary team.
  6. Tests software and equipment.
  7. Maintains software applications.
  8. Evaluates existing methods and algorithms and proposing improvements and modifications.
  9. Develops operations manuals, procedures and instructions and may train operations and maintenance personnel.
  10. Handles contacts with software developing Companies in order to create a high quality product.
  11. Keeps up-to-date with development in technologies and regulations.
  12. Works in cooperation with the Production department, assisting in production startup and optimization work.
  13. Participates in the equipment failure investigations.
  14. Carries out any other related Jobs as and when required by the HOD.
Accountability
  1. Develops software products as per Company requirements.
  2. Keeps the source code files as per company standards.
  3. Keeps the source code documentation as per company standards.
  4. Preparation of weekly report [work results].
Skills/Experience
  1. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
  2. 5+ years of hands-on enterprise development experience with Microsoft technologies and MS driven environments.
  3. Experience of Object Oriented Programming using .NET C#, C++.
  4. Experience with N-Tier Applications.
  5. Experience with WCF / WPF.
  6. Developing XML.
  7. Experience of working with GIT.
  8. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, and software development within Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  9. Experience working with SQL Server databases.
  10. Experience with Test Automation.
