For our client, within the Customer Support Services & Training area, we are looking for a Material Management Specialist for the office in Vergiate (VA).
Responsabilità The mission is to execute end-to-end material management activities, from requirements planning to supply execution, ensuring alignment between demand, procurement and supply performance through coordination of internal and external stakeholders. Key activities are:- Manage material requirements based on demand inputs, ensuring proper definition of quantities, timing and sourcing strategy;
- Execute or support Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities, ensuring consistency and accuracy of planning data;
- Generate and manage purchase requisitions and ensure timely conversion into Purchase Orders / Transfer Orders;
- Ensure proper alignment between demand, planning and procurement functions;
- Manage assigned material supply sources (Supply Chain, Industrial Operations, Local Suppliers);
- Collect, consolidate and monitor supply plans ensuring their consistency with demand priorities;
- Monitor execution of supply plans, identifying delays, shortages and misalignments;
- Perform expediting actions on supply flows and deliveries, coordinating with responsible stakeholders;
- Act as focal point for material issues and receiving anomalies, ensuring proper escalation and resolution;
- Manage material shortages and critical situations, defining and following up recovery actions;
- Provide timely visibility on material availability, risks and recovery plans;
- Support prioritization decisions in case of constrained supply scenarios;
- Ensure data consistency and updates across planning and execution systems;
- Monitor inventory levels, backlog and supply performance for assigned materials;
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning and supply processes.
