<p> Primary Function: Cost analysis (Variable and Tooling cost) of Electrical &amp; Electronics components and systems of new design and modifications. Essential Responsibilities: Target cost estimation during the design and development phase, working with the Cost Manager and Team Leader. Support the systems and components development with Design to cost approach, guiding the designers to select the best technologies, process and materials in terms of cost and quality. Macro estimation of parts and systems starting from preliminary Engineering ideas, Block Diagrams or concepts. Benchmarking activities starting from 3D/2D or disassembled parts. Support Purchasing Department during the negotiation phase. Requirements: Knowledge of electronic architecture, materials and basic notions of production processes: Electrical cost analysis: Hight Voltage Wiring Harness Low Voltage Wiring Harness Electrification cost analysis: Battery Pack DC/DC Converter PDU Thermal System Charge port Inverter Break Resistor On - Board Charger Power Electronics Controller Electronics &amp; Energy cost analysis: Electronics Control Unit ADAS Systems Panels control Infotainment Switches Alternator Auxiliary Battery</p>
