Software Dev Engineer, Alexa Shopping - Core Alexa Shopping team located in Bangalore is looking for an Software Development Engineer to deliver strategic goals for Shopping suite of products. This is an opportunity to join our mission to build tech solutions that delight Shopping customers. We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented Software Engineers who have experience building innovative, mission critical, high volume applications. Will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software, establish design principles, select design patterns and mentor junior team members.
Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
- Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
- Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
