Overall Job Purpose The Senior Accountant occupies a critical, hands‐on role, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager or Controller. The position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the company's financial records, adhering to regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in the accounting function. Internal Controls & Audit : understand internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX) and prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits. Treasury & Cash Management Linkage : collaborate with Treasury on cash forecasting, manage bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and optimize working capital. Accounting Complexities : handle business combination accounting, purchase accounting, integration of acquired entities, and due diligence support. Qualifications, Skills & Experience Technical Accounting Mastery : deep understanding of accounting principles and ability to apply them to real‐world business scenarios. ERP Systems Proficiency : advanced proficiency with major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced functions). Analytical Prowess : excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail for handling complex data sets and finding discrepancies. Leadership & Time Management : proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and guide junior team members. Review work prepared by junior accounting staff (e.g., Accounts Payable/Receivable, Staff Accountants) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
