Due to continued growth, Vertiv is seeking to recruit a Senior CAD Engineer for the Presales team in Londonderry, Derry Presales Senior CAD Engineer is an important part of an interdisciplinary team of technical experts (electrical, mechanical, structural, architectural) to bring together schematic design for Data center (Hyperscale, Enterprise, Colocation, Edge, CLS) and Critical Infrastructure facilities. Position includes applying theoretical knowledge, practical engineering skills, coaching, mentoring as well as communication skills in the fields of Clean Energy, AI and Data center design. Reading and understanding customer requirements provided by SA and sales team CAD (Revit, ACAD) Modeling Providing and reviewing design documents Demonstrated ability to handle opportunities of medium complexity without supervision Mentoring new employees Good CAD capabilities including the ability to represent 3D, layouts, sections PC
