Would you be interested in joining the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) as an interim via Randstad Italia? If you have a good proficiency in English and previous experience in animal health and biosecurity, this could be your chance to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
We are looking for a Scientific Assistant to work in the Animal Health Team.
Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level);
Previous experience in animal health, biosecurity, epidemiology, disease control, risk assessment;
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in animal health, biosecurity, epidemiology and/or related areas;
Behavioural competencies: working with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results, good level of autonomy.
Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. 2259 per month before taxes.
Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possiblewithin 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.

Contribute to the preparation of scientific opinions and documents on risk assessment and disease control;
Assist in the preparation of communications and presentations on risk assessment findings;
Participate in the reporting process of the EUPAHW project results to relevant stakeholders.
