Procurement & Purchasing Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for beverage, operating supplies, equipment, and services. Obtain quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Ensure all purchases comply with hotel procurement policies and approved budgets. Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities. Inventory Management Coordinate with stores and department heads to maintain optimal inventory levels. Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with monthly stock counts. Ensure proper storage and inventory control procedures are followed. Supplier Management Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, service, pricing, and delivery. Resolve issues related to product quality, shortages, and delivery delays. Maintain an updated vendor database and supplier contracts. Cost Control & Compliance Support cost control initiatives to achieve departmental and hotel financial objectives. Compare prices and recommend alternative products or suppliers when appropriate. Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and local regulations. Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation for audit purposes. Reporting Prepare purchasing and inventory reports for management. Analyze purchasing trends, spending patterns, and supplier performance. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management engineering, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred. Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience, preferably within the hospitality industry. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, and supplier management. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software, Birchstreet is preferable. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Supplier delivery performance. Inventory accuracy and stock turnover. Reduction in stock shortages and excess inventory. Compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements. Timeliness of purchase order processing. Supplier quality and service ratings. Competitive salary range €32,000 – €35,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Single room accommodation provided in a shared staff house. Meals on duty provided.
