Freelance Data Engineer – Remote/Hybrid Opportunity
Location: Remote (with optional hybrid days in Turin, Milan, Rome, Bologna, or Naples)

We're looking for a Data Engineer who thrives on building scalable data pipelines and solving complex integration challenges. You'll work with modern big data technologies to design, deploy, and optimize ETL flows that power real‐time applications. This is a freelance opportunity with the flexibility of remote work, perfect for professionals who want autonomy while contributing to impactful projects.
Develop and manage ETL flows for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
Deploy and monitor pipelines in distributed environments.
Optimize Operational Databases (HBase, Phoenix) for real‐time applications.
Tune performance and ensure scalability across data processes.
️ DataFlow (NiFi, NiFi Registry), Data Engineering (Spark, Hive, Impala).
Operational Databases: Advanced SQL, Python, Bash.
Data Modeling, Security & Permissions, Pipeline Best Practices.
3–10 years of experience in Data Engineering.
~ Comfortable collaborating in bilingual environments (Italian & English).
~ Excited about freelancing with flexibility and impact.
