You will be part of the Service Specialist team, providing executional oversight and managing risks from pre-pickup to delivery. You will monitor service levels for key customers and collaborate with carriers to improve performance and enhance in-transit visibility.A day in the life of a Transportation Service SpecialistPickup & Transit Management: On-time pickup, in-transit tracking, risk mitigation, and record updates.Identify and recover loads at risk of on-time delivery failure, provide enterprise-wide visibility, and manage rescheduling vs. Prioritize workload aligned with market strategies, manage customer and sales requests, resolve delivery issues to prevent refusals, and handle call center activities.Documentation & Compliance: Capture documentation, approve detention/demurrage, and ensure accurate reason coding.Monitor returns/refusals, carriers and transit points service level KPIs, and provide operational insights.At least 6 months of experience in Transportation / Logistics areasStrong analytical mindset with advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Knowledge of SAP is a plusExcellent communication skills (spoken and written) in both Italian and English; other languages are a plusProblem-solving and a fact-based mindset with a pragmatical and proactive approachCurious team player, eager to excel in dynamic, fast-paced environmentsWho We Are, What We Believe InWe are Nestlé.
